Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive technique that reduces localized fat excess.
This procedure is painless and simple to apply.
The skin and underlying fat tissue are placed into a special applicator, which delivers a triple thermal shock.
First, the fat is warmed to make it more liquid; then it is cooled and frozen, and finally brought back to body temperature.
This protocol runs automatically and lasts one hour.
The technique causes neither pain nor discomfort.
To achieve effective volume reduction, two to three sessions are necessary, spaced about three to four weeks apart.
In each session, more than 30% of fat cells are destroyed: some are eliminated on-site, while others are expelled through the stool. This cell destruction occurs through a process called “apoptosis.”
Results can be visible about three weeks after each session.
Even fibrous adipose tissue responds to this treatment.
The treated areas include: the abdomen, waist, back, arms, hips, saddlebags, knees, and chin.
Postoperatively, no specific care such as antibiotics or wearing a compression garment is needed.
Similarly, no long-term adverse effects are observed.
However, localized bruising may sometimes occur.
Each treatment is followed by a “shock wave” application — a vibration applied to the treated area to enhance the freezing effect by weakening the cell membranes.
